Social Media Marketing (SMM) combines the goals of internet marketing with social media sites such as Digg, Flickr, MySpace, YouTube and many others. The SMM goals will be different for every business or organization, however most will involve some form of viral marketing to build idea or brand awareness, increase visibility, and possibly sell a product or service. SMM may also include online reputation management.

Most online communities don?t welcome traditional direct or hard sell techniques so an effective SMM campaign will require more finesse to execute properly. SMM campaigns must be targeted to the community you want to reach with a message that appeals to them. Some common ways of achieving this are with authoritative information, entertainment, humor or controversy.

Search Engine Strategies San Jose Recap about Google Universal Search (GUS) will include video and images results. What does this mean and how do taketake advantage of this?

I will be reporting on the Search Engine Strategies 2007 Conference & Expo this year and plan on doing an evening on what I learned.

Event Overview:
We will discuss Google?s Universal Search the biggest change since Fall 2003.

In a week I will be leaving for NYC to direct a feature called, Order of Redemption. It's crime/action/drama shot entirely in NYC and the cast is subperb.

My team will maintain this board while I'm away and I will give you updates from the set as I can. My wife Musetta Vander will be teaching my workshops in OC in my absence. She's currently in Romania fiming Dorm Daze 3 and Animal House adventure...she's a sword weilding, knife throwing, horseback riding - vampire slayer - and she's repelling castles - amazing stuff.
