Philadelphia casting call at Scribe - All Welcomed!

Calling all interested/available actors: Cinevore Studios is hosting a casting call for several upcoming projects in Philadelphia on Saturday, May 24th from noon to 5pm.

We are seeking all ages and types, male and female, for several VOLUNTEER, NON-UNION shoots in the next couple of months. If interested, please send us your headshot/resume via any of the below methods and we will get back to you about attending the call. We are constantly writing and producing new films and are always in need of ALL TYPES of talent!

Therefore, the call is open to EVERYONE. A couple of specific projects we are looking to cast immediately:

-"DANCER" - Actress/dancer/model, female, 18-30, for a parody of a Britney-Spears-style music video to be shot in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area over 2 days in late June. No pay, but will be reimbursed for travel and provided with meals on set and copies of the finished video, as well as a ton of festival and web exposure. One of the members of the Bloodhound Gang is involved, as is one of the most popular people on YouTube (The Angry Video Game Nerd... 126,000 subscribers), so we expect between 100,000 and 1,000,000 views online within a week of posting the final video. We are mainly seeking a Britney Spears-type for the lead. Dancing ability, sense of humor, and enthusiasm in projects that skew a little dark and weird is a must. No nudity, but must be able to be confident in a bikini or equivalent.

-"JOSH" - Male, 18-35, any race/ethnicity, for short comedy about a man's struggle to operate his car's new GPS. The same requirements to play his best friend.

-"CINDY" - Female, 18-35, any race/ethnicity, to play the girlfriend of the above, who becomes suspicious that Josh's GPS is not all it seems

-"BRUCE" - Male, 25-40, Caucasian, dim-witted middle-America prankster fire chief who very much enjoys his spare time, suddenly finds himself in charge of SIMON, a young African boy

-"SIMON" - 8-16, African-American, child adopted by Mrs. Reynolds who is immediately turned over to Bruce and forced to learn the ways of the Western world through his distorted lens

-"MRS. REYNOLDS" - Female, 45-65, Caucasian, to play well-meaning but overly-religious mother of Bruce, who initially agrees to take on the task of caring for SIMON, before immediately turning him over to her son

-"ASHLEY" - Female, 25-35, any race/ethnicity, lives with Bruce, feels bad for Simon and attempts to make his life a little better, which inadvertently backfires
