MICHELE CONDREY, ACTING COACH
Michele, founder & director of R.E.A.C.T., has 27 years experience in the entertainment industry. Thirteen years in Los Angeles (in network television production as a talent coordinator), and over 14 years in the Dallas market as a broadcast talent agent, and now as a film acting coach.
In Los Angeles Michele studied extensively with top film acting coach (and former Sanford Meisner associate coach) Charles Conrad for 7 years in the Meisner Method of acting. Some of Mr. Conrad's former students were Michelle Pfeiffer, Tyne Daly, Kim Basinger, Dennis Quaid, Penny Marshall and Mark Harmon.
It is not possible for anyone to effectively present the Meisner Method unless they, themselves, have had extensive training in it as an actor. The R.E.A.C.T. studio was formed in 1991. There are currently over 100 members.
NANCY CHARTIER, ASSOCIATE ACTING COACH:
Nancy has been a working actress for over 20 years, and Associate Coach for R.E.A.C.T. for seven years. She studied the Meisner Method of acting extensively for 8 1/2 years under Michele Condrey. Through her affiliation with the Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre in Florida, Nancy had the opportunity to study directly with Burt Reynolds, Vincent Gardenia, Charles Nelson Riley, Dom De Luise & Tony Mordente. A true highlight in her studies is when she worked with Jose Quintero at the Stage Company of the Palm Beaches.
Nancy also was a volunteer acting coach for the Letot Center, a halfway house for runaway kids. She was so appreciated that she was awarded "Volunteer of the Year" during her second year of service. Somehow, Nancy has found time to have starred and co-starred in numerous films, shorts and television shows, not to mention many national & regional commercials.
