I waited for a statewide backlash of women’s rights activists, for protests to be organized, for petitions to be sent around. But, I heard nothing. I am furious and fed up, and I want to do something. I want to organize a group of like-minded women who are ready to get their hands dirty and effect some change in Texas.

This group was created to encourage awareness of and access to the Balcones Canyonland Preserve (BCP). Through the promotion of public educational opportunities, our members will be in the loop of special access hikes and lectures.
